Therefore, the protocol standards RFC2285 and RFC2889 both describe the MAC address table and MAC address learning of Ethernet switches. The MAC address table shows the relationship between the host's MAC address and the Ethernet switch port mapping, indicating the direction of the data frame to the destination host.
