(A firewall is a system or set of systems, including hardware and software, that enforces access control policies between two networks, with the intention of protecting the network from intrusion by others. In essence, it complies with a network communication security mechanism that allows or prevents business communication, that is, it provides controllable filtering of network communication and only allows authorized communication. Generally, a firewall is a router or a computer that sits between an intranet or Web site and the Internet. It is intended to be like a security gate, providing security for the portion inside the gate, controlling those persons or things that may be permitted to enter or leave the protected environment. This course mainly introduces the basic knowledge of firewall, network security scheme, key technology of firewall, use of firewall, functional scheme and deployment management of firewall, etc. Through the study of this course, students can master the function of the firewall, the selected network technology and system structure, the installation, configuration, management and protection of the firewall. Improve students' network security awareness and practical ability, and lay a good foundation for cultivating network management talents.
