Design scope Bell College The core of the network management is located on the 3rd floor of the library building. At present, there are staff dormitories, foreign language cores, library buildings and teaching buildings that need to be connected to the core to form a campus network, and each building needs network wiring to build a local area network in the building. 2. Determination of design goals The integrated wiring system we design for the campus network will be based on the following goals: 1) Meet the current and long-term information transmission requirements. 2) The wiring system design follows the international (ISO/CEI11801) standard. 3) The wiring system adopts the star topology recommended by international standards. 4) Consider the need for the speed of the computer network to develop to 100Mbps. 5) The information outlet of the wiring system adopts the international standard RJ45 socket. 6) The wiring system meets the requirements of the integrated service data network. 7) The wiring system should be based on the principle of openness. 3. Wiring requirements The main computer room of the campus network is located on the third floor of the library. Then connect to the three buildings in the school through optical cables, and use Category 5 4 pairs of UTP cables in each building to connect to the distribution frame in the equipment room. ........)
