(This article introduces various IEEE802.16 protocol standards in detail, compares various WiMAX physical layer technologies, analyzes the various advantages and disadvantages of WiMAX, Wi-Fi and cellular systems, and discusses the WiMAX networking scheme. Trying to meet the current network compatibility and compensation criteria, a strategy for dividing WiMAX networking into 3 periods is proposed, and a detailed networking scheme for each period is given.
