(Your superior router, the LAN port settings must be set to the DHCP service open state, to dynamically assign IP addresses and DNS. If it is a static IP, the WAN port of the router you plan to use for bridging may not be able to obtain an IP address, and the manually assigned IP address may not be available, even if you think the IP address you assigned is in the address pool of the LAN port of the upper router;)
