(Putty is a free Telnet, rlogin and SSH client under windows32 platform, but its function is no less than that of commercial telnet tools. Using it to remotely manage Linux is very easy to use. Its main advantages are as follows: ◆ it is completely free; ◆ it runs very well under windows9x/nt/2000; ◆ fully support ssh1 and SSH2; ◆ green software, without installation, can be used by creating a shortcut on the desktop after downloading; ◆ the volume is very small, only 364kb (0.54beta version); ◆ simple operation, all operations are realized in one control panel.
