(Packettracer is an auxiliary learning tool released by Cisco. It provides a network simulation environment for beginners learning Cisco network courses to design, configure and troubleshoot network faults. Users can directly use drag method to establish network topology on the graphical user interface of the software, provide detailed processing process of data packets traveling in the network, and observe the real-time operation of the network. You can learn IOS configuration and exercise your troubleshooting ability. The software also comes with several established demonstration environments and task challenges for four semesters. The latest version is packettracer5.5. It supports AAA Authentication and other advanced configurations.
