After 2012, the teacher qualification examination was incorporated into the mode of combining the unified examination and the provincial examination. By 2018, all provinces except Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, and Tibet will be included in the unified teacher qualification examination. The Examination Center of the Ministry of Education formulates the test questions, and the local Education Examination Institute conducts the examination.
