(LumaQQ is a multi platform third-party QQ client, which now has Mac, Java and iPhone versions. The Java version is developed based on SWT and is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL for short), while the Mac version is not open source. The Java version used to be the mainstream QQ client of the Linux platform, and its prestige reached its peak in the era of "Tathagata God Palm" (January 2005 April 2005). Later, because the author was uninterested, the Java version was gradually abandoned and the Mac version was developed. Before LumaQQ, there were elders like OpenQ, so the Java version of LumaQQ is not the first open source QQ client. However, LumaQQ has stronger functions, a more friendly interface, and more detailed code comments, all of which contributed to the explosion of third-party QQ clients, presenting Eva, Cyclone, TextQQ, MilyQQ, various QQ hang up tools, various WebQQ, and so on. Maybe some of them have died out, or some of them are still going on. No matter what, LumaQQ started an era.
