防病毒技术简介
CPU内嵌的防病毒技术是一种硬件防病毒技术，与操作系统相配合，能够防备大多数用于缓冲区溢出（bufferoverrun）漏洞的攻击（大多数是病毒）。Intel的防病毒技术是EDB（ExcuteDisableBit），AMD的防病毒技术是EVP（EhancedVirusProtection），但不管叫啥，它们的原理都是迥然不同的。严格来说，现在各个CPU厂商在CPU内部集成的防病毒技术不能称之为“硬件防毒”。(The anti-virus technology embedded in the CPU is a hardware anti-virus technology that cooperates with the operating system to prevent most attacks (mostly viruses) used for buffer overflow (bufferoverrun) vulnerabilities.
